After such a superb Ycademy Seminar on editing and Publishing Digital Photos this past weekend we are all already looking forward to the next seminar in August which has been announced today. The topic, Publishing Power and Marketing. Certainly an interesting topic for all who publish online, whatever the business.
Editing Digital Photos
There are certain techniques that one can employ using the various photo edting programs that are online to edit digital photos. The basics of editing a photo is to bring out the very best of the subject that is in the photo. Not all cameras are the same and conditions are very rarely ideal when taking a photograph, unless of course one uses a studio and utilises the studio lighting. Sometimes a photo needs to be given a little more vibrancy to bring it to life, sometimes a little background blur to bring out the subject. All these techniques can be learnt and applied. Many techniques are made very simple with many of these editing tools. For the Ycademy Seminar participants this was just the begining of a new learning curve and many a happy hour will be spent practising what they have learnt over the weekend.
